Venice promotes sustainable mobility through festival collaborations

The Municipality of Venice is integrating cultural events with sustainable mobility initiatives as part of European Mobility Week. A collaboration has been established between the Ciani Live Aid festival, scheduled for September 3–6 at the Zelarino municipal field, and the ‘Venezia in Bici’ event taking place at Albanese-Bissuola Park on September 19–20.

To support cyclists, the city will provide 200 bicycle parking spaces and two free ‘bike check’ stations offering mechanical inspections and minor repairs. These maintenance services are funded by the European Interreg ‘Lamo’ project. The festivities at Albanese-Bissuola Park will also feature musical performances by the winning bands from the Ciani Live Aid festival, aiming to combine music, community engagement, and environmental sustainability.
