Venice to host 2027 Climate Week under ‘Aqua Age’ theme

The third edition of Venice Climate Week has been announced, scheduled to take place in Venice from June 3 to June 8, 2027. The event will center on the theme ‘Aqua Age,’ focusing on the global challenges posed by water regarding cities, food systems, and economies.

The initiative is a collaborative effort involving the Future Food Institute, led by President Sara Roversi, journalist Riccardo Luna, and the Mayor of Venice, Simone Venturini. The announcement was made during the ‘Planet Aqua, Planet Peace’ meeting in collaboration with Food Tank.

Organizers aim to position water at the heart of climate decision-making and foster a global alliance for its protection. The program intends to bridge the gap between scientific research, municipal leadership, and youth engagement to address the interconnectedness of water, health, and territorial sustainability.
