Vençislav Petkov accuses Radostin Vasilev of diverting parliamentary salary funds

Vençislav Petkov, a close associate of Bulgarian MP Radostin Vasilev, alleges that Vasilev has taken an additional two‑thirds of his parliamentary salary for personal use. Petkov claims Vasilev used the money to purchase a 50,000‑lev watch and that the funds were collected from fellow deputies in envelopes. Petkov also states he has donated over 200,000 lev to the party as an individual sponsor and questions how the money is being spent. The accusations were shared in an internal party chat posted on Facebook, where Petkov calls Vasilev a “thief” and urges party members to vote based on conscience at the upcoming congress.
