Venko Filipche vows no construction on Mount Vodno

SDSM President Venko Filipche has declared that no construction will take place on Mount Vodno, specifically in the Barutana settlement, as long as he leads the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia.

Speaking in an interview on Telma television, Filipche stated that the party stands with citizens opposing the urbanization of the area. He noted that this position is part of the SDSM master plan and is coordinated with Mayor Gerasimovski. Filipche also dismissed claims by VMRO regarding a purported agreement between the two parties concerning the urbanization of Mount Vodno, asserting that the party's priority remains the interests and voices of the citizens.
