Venâncio Aires Launches New Tourist Route and Trem do Pampa Unveils Wine‑Food Tour

Venâncio Aires in Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul municipality introduced the "Caminhos da Cuia" tourist route, created by local entrepreneurs to link five attractions – the Igreja Matriz São Sebastião Mártir, a centenary fig tree, the Uvas de Mesa Vom Hügel farm, Vinícola São Pedro and the Ponto do Chimarrão with a giant cuia. Organizers say the route will encourage longer stays and stimulate hospitality, gastronomy, commerce and rural tourism.

Separately, Giordani Turismo announced the "Tour Vinhos e Sabores do Pampa" on the Trem do Pampa railway. The four‑hour experience, scheduled for 5 September and 11 October 2026, departs at 17:30 from Sant’Ana do Livramento, includes on‑board wine and sparkling‑grape‑juice tastings, live music and a stop at Vinícola Almadén for a chef‑curated tasting menu. The tour costs from R$250 per passenger and is promoted by marketing manager Cristiane Tomazini.
