Venstre leader calls extraordinary board meeting amid low polls

Venstre leader Troels Lund Poulsen has called an extraordinary meeting of the party's main board for October 25 in Nyborg to address the current political situation. Recent Voxmeter polling shows Venstre at 5.9 percent, which is near the party's historical low. Other parties are also facing challenges; Alternativet is polling at 1.8 percent, below the threshold required to maintain seats in the Folketing, and Borgernes Parti has dropped to 0.2 percent. The extraordinary meeting serves as a precursor to the party's national assembly in Herning this November, where future strategy will be a central theme.
