Ventas, the S&P 500 senior‑housing REIT, completed the purchase of Clearwater at Riverpark, a 136‑unit Class A independent‑living community in Oxnard, California. The transaction, brokered by JLL Capital Markets on behalf of seller Harrison Street Asset Management, closed on July 15 and was announced later in the month. The property, built in 2018, sits on 3.8 acres with 153,297 sq ft of space and includes amenities such as a pool, fitness center, theater and dog park. The sale price of $56.54 million amounts to about $415,700 per unit, underscoring continued institutional demand for newer senior‑housing assets in limited‑supply coastal markets.

JLL’s brokerage team was led by senior managing director Aaron Rosenzweig and senior director Dan Baker. Ventas’ acquisition adds a premier senior‑living asset to its portfolio, reflecting the firm’s focus on high‑performing, modern communities that attract premium capital.
