Vente Venezuela launches biometric tool to reunite children after June quake
Vente Venezuela announced the launch of a biometric identification platform designed to locate and reunite children, girls and adolescents separated from their families following the June 24 earthquake in Venezuela. The system, called “Monitoreo Ciudadano Plus Web,” was developed by Venezuelan programmers living abroad and operates through biometric matching while safeguarding the minors’ personal data.
The tool is now available to families and aid workers via the platform’s website, aiming to streamline the search process in shelters and protect the legal rights of the children affected by the disaster.
