Ventimiglia to host ‘SuperKaraoke’ television production

Ventimiglia will host the television production ‘SuperKaraoke’ at the Belvedere del Resentello from September 3 to 5. Hosted by Michelle Hunziker and broadcast on Canale 5 starting September 8, the event features various national artists including Alex Britti, Anna Tatangelo, Baby K, Benji e Fede, Ermal Meta, Giusy Ferreri, Irene Grandi, Marco Masini, Ricchi e Poveri, and Fabio Rovazzi.

The event is a collaborative effort between the Liguria Region, the Municipality of Ventimiglia, and Mediaset. Local officials, including Mayor Flavio Di Muro and Regional President Marco Bucci, view the production as a strategic tool for tourism promotion and economic stimulation. The goal is to shift the public image of the border city and showcase the Liguria region to a wide audience.

Economic impact is already being noted, with local accommodation facilities reporting they are fully booked. To manage the expected attendance of between 5,000 and 10,000 people per night, extraordinary nighttime rail connections to Savona have been activated to facilitate travel.
