Ventisqueros hosts first female leadership seminar in Hualaihué, Chile

Ventisqueros, together with the Corporación Alianza Solidaria, organized the inaugural “Mujeres Líderes” seminar at the Los Álamos community centre in Hornopirén, Hualaihué, Chile. The event brought together territorial women leaders and representatives of indigenous peoples to exchange experiences, strengthen capacities and create collaborative networks. Participants received tools to enhance personal and community skills. Ignacio Arancibia, Ventisqueros’ Community Relations officer, said, “Creemos que el desarrollo de los territorios se construye junto a las personas y que las mujeres cumplen un rol fundamental en ese proceso.” Carolina Bórquez, head of the municipal Women’s Office, added, “Sin duda este tipo de actividades fortalecen y animan el trabajo de las mujeres en sus diferentes ámbitos.” The seminar is part of Ventisqueros’ volunteer programme aimed at reinforcing social fabric in the areas where the company operates.
