VEON and Amdocs sign 10-year strategic agreement

VEON and Amdocs have entered into a 10-year strategic agreement aimed at modernizing VEON’s core technology operations and accelerating its transition into a digital services operator across Eurasia.

Under the terms of the deal, Amdocs will utilize its agentic operating system, aOS, to manage and modernize VEON’s IT operations. The partnership will also integrate intellectual property from QazCode, VEON’s software and AI subsidiary, into the Amdocs aOS platform. The collaboration is intended to provide long-term cost predictability and enhance digital and AI-driven customer experiences.

VEON CEO Kaan Terzioğlu stated that digital and AI services currently account for approximately 27% of the group’s revenue. He noted that adopting Amdocs’ capabilities is a natural progression in the company’s journey to improve digital experiences through innovation.
