VeRa and Viva Suecia Release New Albums Soledad y Sangre, Hecho en tiempos de paz
Argentine electronic project VeRa, led by composer and producer Verónica Ramos, issued its sixth album Soledad y Sangre. The eight‑track conceptual work blends synth‑pop, post‑punk and darkwave, exploring isolation, identity and transformation. It is available on all digital platforms and via Bandcamp, with a live launch show scheduled for 19 September 2026 at Tazú Bar Cultural as part of the It’s a Synth festival, sharing the stage with Alicia and the Argentine band Las Eras.
Spanish rock group Viva Suecia returned after four years with its fifth studio album Hecho en tiempos de paz. The eleven‑song record, nominated for a Latin Grammy, focuses on shared bonds and finding calm amid uncertainty. Singles such as “Dolor y gloria”, “Deja encendida una luz”, “Querer” and the collaborative track “Sangre” with Siloé illustrate the album’s themes of hope, vulnerability and collective refuge.
