Vera Tóth discusses changing views on motherhood

Singer Vera Tóth has shared personal reflections regarding motherhood and her changing perspective on having children. During the filming of the new VIASAT3 program ‘Kutyával vagyok’ (I am with the Dog), hosted by Róbert Alföldi, Tóth discussed how her pet, Bözsi, influenced her outlook.

Tóth admitted that she previously feared the level of emotional commitment and dependency associated with parenthood. She stated, “If it hadn’t been for Bözsi, I would probably say I wouldn’t even give the chance for me to have a child,” noting that her dog helped alleviate her fears of such intense emotional influence.

This disclosure follows previous statements made by the singer in August 2024, where she expressed a long-standing desire to become a mother despite facing difficulties in conceiving. At that time, she also noted that career and business pressures had led to health challenges.
