Veracruz authorities seek information on missing persons

Authorities in Veracruz are intensifying efforts to locate missing individuals. The State Attorney General's Office has offered a reward of 350,000 pesos for information leading to the location of Bulmaro Herrera Bandala, a 51-year-old truck driver who has been missing since February 22, 2026. Herrera Bandala was last seen in the Tihuatlán municipality on the Álamo-Tihuatlán highway; his trailer was later found burned.

The reward is part of a larger 3.85 million peso fund aimed at locating 11 missing persons across various municipalities in Veracruz.

Separately, the State Commission for the Search of Persons has issued an alert for Rafael García Hernández, a 32-year-old man missing since May 18, 2023. He was last seen in the Paso del Macho municipality. Authorities have expressed concern for his physical integrity and are requesting public assistance in his search.
