Veracruz Legislature authorizes aircraft sale and declares state holiday

The Veracruz State Legislature has authorized the Executive Branch to sell a Robinson R66 helicopter via public auction. The proceeds from the sale of the aircraft, registered as XC-LPG, will be deposited into the Treasury of the Secretariat of Finance and Planning (Sefiplan).

Additionally, the LXVII Legislature unanimously approved a decree declaring October 27 as the State Day of the Sierra Flag. This initiative aims to preserve the historical memory of the flag, a symbol of identity for the peoples of the Sierra de Zongolica and their role in the Mexican War of Independence. The declaration includes instructions for the state government to integrate this commemoration into the state's civic-cultural calendar.
