In Veracruz, Mexico, Governor Rocío Nahle García has invested over 180 million pesos to provide 68 new patrol vehicles and specialized equipment to the Secretariat of Public Security. This equipment includes ballistic helmets, vests, tactical drones, and first aid kits. The administration reports that August saw the second-lowest incidence of intentional homicide in the state, with an 8.88 percent decrease in homicides and an 18.82 percent decrease in pedestrian robbery compared to the previous year.

In Tamaulipas, Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya reports that the state has reached its lowest homicide rate since January 2015. The administration is focusing on intelligence, investigation, and police professionalization in coordination with national security strategies. The state has also seen significant reductions in vehicle and residential robberies.

In Jujuy, Argentina, at least eight people died in various traffic accidents during September. These incidents, occurring across several routes and municipalities, involved motorists, motorcyclists, cyclists, and pedestrians.
