Veracruz Governor promotes state's industrial and energy advantages
Veracruz Governor Rocío Nahle García has highlighted the state's competitive advantages to attract industrial investment during a meeting with the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (CONCAMIN).
Nahle emphasized that Veracruz is the seventh largest economy in Mexico and holds the first place nationally in electricity generation. The state's energy infrastructure includes hydroelectric, nuclear, and combined-cycle plants, supported by an extensive pipeline network and natural gas availability.
Key logistical assets mentioned include the ports of Veracruz, Coatzacoalcos, and Tuxpan. Nahle noted that Tuxpan is positioned to become a technological and industrial hub due to its proximity to Mexico City.
