Veracruz hosts Fábrica de Negocio 2026 commercial summit

The Fábrica de Negocio Región Sur-Sureste 2026 commercial networking event opened for the first time in Veracruz. Inaugurated by Governor Rocío Nahle García and GS1 México Director General Juan Carlos Molina Robledo, the event brought together more than 3,300 attendees, 20 commercial chains, and 600 business appointments.

The gathering aims to connect manufacturers and entrepreneurs with buyers from major national and regional chains, including sectors such as self-service, pharmacies, department stores, hospitality, and e-commerce. Participating companies include Soriana, Chedraui, OXXO, OfficeMax, Woolworth, Del Sol, Mercado Libre, Amazon, and Walmart Marketplace.

Governor Nahle emphasized Veracruz’s strategic location and infrastructure, stating the state is “open to support, open to investment, and open to commercial exchange.” She also highlighted government support for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MiPyMEs) through the ‘Apoyo a la Palabra’ program, which has provided over 15,000 direct supports for machinery and tools.
