Veracruz invests 1.4 million pesos in medical supplies for Totonacapan
The Government of Veracruz and IMSS-Bienestar have invested over 1.4 million pesos to strengthen the supply of medicines and medical materials in the Totonacapan region. Through a mobile health caravan, 49,017 items were distributed across 10 health units.
Eight health centers, including those in Mecatlán, Filomeno Mata, and Progreso de Zaragoza, received 11,069 pieces totaling approximately 319,973 pesos. The largest portion of the supply, valued at over 1.1 million pesos, was delivered to the Hospital de la Comunidad de Entabladero and the Hospital General Papantla Dr. José Buill Belenguer.
The initiative aims to prioritize vulnerable areas and ensure the availability of essential supplies for free medical care and vaccinations.
