Veracruz lagoons host birdwatching tours during migration season

Biologists and nature enthusiasts gathered at the La Ilusión and El Ensueño lagoons in Veracruz to participate in a birdwatching and identification tour. Coordinated by biologist Jordi Tito Cobix, the activity took place during the migration season of raptors, allowing participants to observe various species, including small hawks and other migratory birds.

The event, supported by the Organizing Committee of the Lagunas del Ensueño e Ilusión and the Participatory Environmental Vigilance Committee, aimed to combine scientific observation with community engagement to highlight the local ecosystem.
