Veracruz magistrate suspended amid judicial investigations
In Veracruz, Mexico, a magistrate of the State Superior Court of Justice (TSJ) has been temporarily suspended. Several other judges are also under investigation for alleged actions that may violate impartiality and other judicial principles.
Rosalba Hernández Hernández, president of the TSJ, confirmed that the investigations are being conducted by the Judicial Discipline Tribunal. This body assumed these oversight functions following recent reforms that modified the powers previously held by the Council of the Judiciary. While several procedures have been initiated following citizen complaints, no final decisions or specific responsibilities have been determined at this time.
