Veracruz Mayor joins administrative modernization efforts

Veracruz Mayor Rosa María Hernández Espejo participated in the Meeting of Mayors for the Transformation of Procedures and Services to support administrative modernization efforts. This initiative aligns with strategies promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and Governor Rocío Nahle García.

The meeting, led by Secretary of Economic and Port Development Ernesto Pérez Astorga, focused on implementing the National Model for the Standardization of Procedures and Services in Veracruz. This effort is part of the National Law to Eliminate Bureaucratic Procedures, which aims to reduce unnecessary requirements, streamline management, and utilize digital tools to facilitate citizen interactions and minimize the need for physical office visits.

The program emphasizes coordination between the state government and municipalities to develop mechanisms tailored to local needs while respecting municipal authority.
