Veracruz Ministry of Education delivers school transport to Barranca Grande
The Veracruz Ministry of Education (SEV) has delivered school transportation and supplies to the Barranca Grande community in Ixhuacán de los Reyes. To fulfill a commitment made by Governor Rocío Nahle in July, authorities provided two van-type vehicles to ensure safe daily travel for students.
In addition to transportation, the SEV distributed various educational materials to 253 students across preschool, primary, secondary, and telebachillerato levels. The supplies included backpacks, chairs, tables, whiteboards, desks, screens, paint, and waterproofing materials. Raquel Bonilla Herrera, head of the SEV, stated the initiative aims to guarantee the right to education and support student retention in the classroom.
