Veracruz officials coordinate audits of federalized resources

Rosa María Hernández Espejo, the president of Veracruz, reaffirmed her commitment to transparency and the responsible management of public resources during a coordination meeting between the Órgano de Fiscalización Superior del Estado de Veracruz (ORFIS) and the Auditoría Superior de la Federación (ASF).

The meeting, led by ORFIS Auditor General Delia González Cobos, focused on opening Integral Audits for Federalized Expenditure Resources regarding the 2025 Public Account for Veracruz municipalities. This oversight process aims to strengthen controls, prevent irregularities, and ensure the correct application of public funds. The review pertains to the 2025 fiscal year, prior to the start of the current municipal administration, and serves to maintain institutional continuity and accountability.
