Verana rural property offered for sale in Narrawa district
The Kelly family is offering the Verana property for sale in the Narrawa district of the Southern Tablelands for the first time in 120 years. The 540-hectare (1,333-acre) holding is located approximately 30 minutes from Crookwell, 60 minutes from Goulburn, and 90 minutes from Canberra.
The property features fertile creek flats and undulating grazing land with red basalt, granite, and loam soils suitable for cattle, fat lambs, and wool production. It has an estimated carrying capacity of approximately 4,000 dry sheep equivalents. Water sources include the Crookwell River, Burrawinda Creek, 10 dams, and a natural spring.
Improvements on the land include a four-stand raised-board shearing shed, sheep and cattle yards, a machinery shed, and a grain silo. The residential portion includes a 1940s double-brick three-bedroom homestead. Expressions of interest are being managed by Ray White Rural and close on November 6.
