Verano Xul-Há 2026 kicks off in Othón P. Blanco, Quintana Roo

The municipal president of Othón P. Blanco, Yensunni Martínez Hernández, inaugurated the three‑day Verano Xul‑Há 2026 festival on July 31. The event, running through August 2, features a schedule of sports competitions—including football, volleyball, relay obstacles, tug‑of‑war, kayaking and athletics—alongside cultural and recreational activities for families.

Music performances are planned, with artist Dixson Waz opening the festivities and DJ Diego closing the weekend. Organizers aim to promote healthy lifestyles, strengthen community ties and boost local tourism in the southern Quintana Roo region.
