Verbatim News Magazine announces Pillars of Integrity Awards

Verbatim News Magazine has announced that the maiden edition of the Verbatim Annual Ethics and Integrity Awards will take place on September 29 at the Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja. The event will also feature the unveiling of ‘Verbatim 100’, a developmental journalism series designed to document institutions and leaders contributing to national development and improved governance.

Organized in strategic partnership with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), the initiative aims to recognize public institutions and their Chief Executives for their commitment to ethics and institutional compliance. The 100 selected Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are identified based on the 2025 Ethics and Integrity Compliance Scorecard (EICS) provided by the ICPC. The Commission is providing technical guidance and data validation to ensure the recognition is based on rigorous institutional assessments rather than subjective editorial rankings.
