Vercelli Marc Chagall exhibition secures 6,000 reservations
An upcoming Marc Chagall exhibition at the Arca spaces in Vercelli has already secured approximately 6,000 reservations three weeks prior to its opening. The exhibition will feature 60 original works and is being described by local authorities as the most significant art event organized in the city in the last twenty years.
Mayor Roberto Scheda stated that the high level of interest is a source of satisfaction and is bringing significant attention to the city. The municipal administration aims to leverage the influx of visitors to boost the local economy, specifically targeting growth in the restaurant, hospitality, and retail sectors.
Beyond the exhibition, the city intends to promote other local cultural landmarks to visitors, including the Basilica of Sant'Andrea, the four municipal museums, and the Church of San Cristoforo, which is often referred to as the ‘Sistine Chapel of Piedmont’.
