Verdú Artesanos triples turnover through e-commerce shift

Verdú Artesanos, a family-owned artisan business founded in 1953 in Dénia, Alicante, has undergone a significant strategic transformation. Led by brothers Adrián and Álvaro Verdú, the company transitioned from a traditional direct-to-public ice cream parlor to a model heavily focused on e-commerce and digital communication.

This shift, initiated five years ago, has resulted in the company tripling its turnover, which now approaches two million euros. The new strategy has allowed for the desestacionalización of their business, enabling year-round sales through a diverse product range. While summer focuses on ice cream and granitas, the company offers seasonal items such as turrones in winter and various pastries during Easter.

The business maintains an artisanal approach, emphasizing high-quality ingredients and providing dietary options including gluten-free, lactose-free, and sugar-free products.
