Verdal search launched for missing Jack Russell Terrier

A search is underway in Verdal, Norway, for a six-year-old Jack Russell Terrier named Ricco, who disappeared during a walk on Marsteinsvola on Sunday evening.

Ricco is described as brown and white, friendly, and social. He was last seen wearing a brown collar with an identification tag and an orange and black reflective harness. The family believes he may have headed south toward Hestgreivollen or Minsaasvollen, or east toward Haukåa.

Owners Elisabeth Melhus Molde and Morten Molde have been conducting active searches and are requesting assistance from the community. The family is specifically asking for help from anyone with drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras.
