Vereinte Volksbank donates 26,000 euros to Dorsten organizations

Vereinte Volksbank has donated a total of 26,000 euros to charitable causes in Dorsten. The funds were distributed during a ceremony involving Mayor Tobias Stockhoff and representatives from local organizations.

The donation stems from the ‘Dorsten er Kultursommer’ event, which featured a free concert by the Bundeswehr Big Band in June. During the concert, employees of the Volksbank and the city of Dorsten collected 5,754.01 euros in donations from attendees.

The Vereinte Volksbank rounded this amount up to 6,000 euros and provided an additional 20,000 euros. The 6,000 euro portion was allocated to the Altstadt fire brigade platoon and the Technisches Hilfswerk (THW) to recognize their public service and support during the concert.
