Veria FC Holds First Open Training for 2026/27 Season Amid Board Resignation and New Signing

Veria FC announced the official start of its preparations for the 2026/27 season, with the first open training session scheduled for Monday, 3 August at 19:00 in the Municipal Stadium of Veria. The training will be open to supporters and the media, giving fans a chance to see the new roster and recent acquisitions.

During the same announcement, club officials reported that Dimitrios Voulkos, a member of the board of AO Xanthi, submitted his resignation for personal reasons. He will be succeeded on the board by Spiros Papastasiou, while the duties previously handled by Voulkos in the sporting department will be taken over by Christos Granas. The club also highlighted the signing of Giannis Kyriakidis and praised Kyriakos Almasidis for his personal academic achievement and continued collaboration with the team.
