Verica Nedeska returns to Macedonian theatre

Macedonian actress Verica Nedeska is returning to the local stage following a twenty-year period spent between Skopje and Prague. An alumna of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje and FAMU in Prague, Nedeska has built a diverse career spanning film, theatre, and screenwriting.

Nedeska is set to portray Olga in the upcoming production of Chekhov’s ‘Three Sisters’, directed by Nela Vitoseviki. This production will serve as the opening for the Macedonian National Theatre’s 2026/2027 season, with a premiere scheduled for September 25. In recent years, she has been active in productions such as ‘Catatonia’ and the chamber drama ‘Love Letters’.
