VerifiedX launches $15 million financing round for Bitcoin assets

VerifiedX has launched a $15 million financing round to support its programmable financial operating system for Bitcoin and intelligent assets. The Foundation has already secured initial investments from undisclosed institutional investors. Cantor Fitzgerald is acting as the investment banking partner for the financing.

The capital is intended to fund institutional Bitcoin distribution and expand custody relationships. This includes partnering with BitGo, a qualified digital-asset custodian, to hold vBTC (a Bitcoin-collateralized token) and its counterpart on Coinbase’s Base network, vBTC.b.

Additionally, the funds will support listings of vBTC and the native token VFX on tier-one centralized exchanges, with announcements expected within weeks. The financing also aims to develop borrow-and-lend programs, allowing holders to use Bitcoin as productive financial capital without sacrificing ownership or redemption rights.
