Verisk must move forward with $2.35 bn AccuLynx acquisition after Delaware court order
Delaware Chancery Court Judge Bonnie David ruled that Verisk Analytics' termination of its planned $2.35 billion purchase of roofing‑software maker AccuLynx was invalid and ordered the company to attempt to complete the transaction.
The judge noted that the U.S. Federal Trade Commission had not finished its review of the deal by the December 26 deadline, which Verisk cited when it pulled the plug. AccuLynx was awarded damages for direct costs with interest, and the acquisition remains subject to final FTC approval.
