Verito and Truss partner to automate tax and accounting workflows

Verito, a cloud hosting and managed IT provider for tax and accounting firms, has announced a partnership with tax workflow platform Truss. The collaboration aims to modernize accounting practices by combining automation with flexible hosting solutions.

Under the agreement, firms utilizing Verito’s private, dedicated servers can integrate Truss to automate manual tasks such as document intake, file organization, workpaper standardization, and client signatures and payments. The partnership is designed to allow firms to adopt automation without replacing their existing software ecosystems. Core applications including Drake, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSeries, ProSystem fx, and QuickBooks will continue to operate within their current secure environments.

The partnership also targets firms looking to migrate away from legacy hosting providers that impose ecosystem lock-in. These firms can transition to Verito’s hosting environment, which is specifically optimized for tax and accounting workloads, while implementing Truss workflows.
