Verity tops global box office with strong opening weekend

The psychological thriller ‘Verity’, starring Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett, has claimed the top spot at the global box office. In the United States, the film earned approximately $32.6 million during its opening weekend. It also saw significant success in Germany, recording its strongest opening weekend ever with over 2.7 million euros earned in four days. In the UK and Ireland, the film debuted with £3.4 million.

‘Resident Evil’ continues its strong theatrical run, securing the second position in several markets. The film has surpassed $250 million in global earnings and recently earned $12.5 million in its third weekend in the US.

Other notable box office performances include ‘Heart of the Beast’, which earned $11 million in its opening, and ‘Digger’, which saw a more modest start of approximately $1.1 million in the UK and Ireland.
