Verizon voice services impacted in parts of the United States

Verizon is experiencing an issue primarily impacting voice services for wireless customers in certain parts of the United States, particularly along the East Coast. Reports of service disruptions began spiking around 4 PM ET.

Verizon's support team confirmed the situation on X, stating, "We are aware of an issue impacting voice services for wireless customers in some parts of the U. S. Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and resolve the issue."

DownDetector recorded over 13,000 reports regarding the outage. The disruption has also been noted by users on Visible, a Verizon MVNO, with some reports indicating spikes in issues for other carriers such as T-Mobile and AT&T as well.
