Verónica Hidalgo denies involvement in drug seizure

Model Verónica Hidalgo has addressed recent legal developments following a police search of her shared residence, where 1.3 kilograms of hashish were discovered in a freezer. The discovery occurred during a raid that also led to the arrest of her husband, Juan Andrés González, on suspected drug trafficking charges.

Hidalgo appeared at the Moratalaz police station in Madrid to provide a statement. Despite reports regarding her summons, Hidalgo clarified her legal status, stating, “I am neither charged nor under investigation.” Legal commentators have noted that her appearance is a standard procedure when controlled substances are found in a shared home, and she maintains she has no knowledge of the drugs found.
