Verónica Hidalgo supports partner detained in criminal investigation

Spanish model and former Miss Spain 2005, Verónica Hidalgo, has publicly expressed her unconditional support for Juan Andrés González Santos, the father of her daughter. González Santos has been in preventive detention at the Estremera VIII prison in Madrid since April.

He is currently under investigation for alleged involvement in crimes including membership in a criminal organization and money laundering, as part of a larger drug trafficking investigation. Hidalgo stated to the press that she believes in his innocence and described him as a great father. She noted that the forced separation has strengthened their bond and mentioned that she visits him weekly, including bi-monthly two-hour private meetings.
