Verónica Lozano has been offered the hosting role for MasterChef Junior on Telefe, potentially replacing Ian Lucas. While the proposal has been made, Lozano has not yet provided a definitive response.

Due to legal regulations regarding the working hours of minors, recordings for the reality show will take place on Saturdays. This will result in a weekly broadcast format, though the specific airing day—Friday, Saturday, or Sunday—is yet to be determined. Casting is currently underway for participants between the ages of 9 and 13.

Regarding Ian Lucas, attempts to transition him into a judging role were unsuccessful because the program format requires judges to be culinary experts. Following the departure of Donato de Santis after ten years, the jury may consist of chefs Christophe Krywonis, Mauricio Asta, and Felicitas Pizarro.
