Verónica Ruffo considers Baja California governorship candidacy

Verónica Ruffo Sánchez is considering a candidacy for the governorship of Baja California in the 2027 elections. She is currently evaluating invitations from the National Action Party (PAN) and the Somos Party to run as part of a broad coalition.

During the América Libre Forum, Ruffo Sánchez stated that she expects to reach a decision regarding her candidacy within approximately two weeks. She noted that her upbringing as the daughter of former governor Ernesto Ruffo Appel provided her with early exposure to politics. She emphasized that her political platform would focus on unity and respect rather than divisive language, aiming to act as a unifying figure for citizens and political parties alike.
