Verónica Saquel joins Mkzeta as Showrunner

Verónica Saquel has left the Chilean television network Mega after eleven years to join the production company Mkzeta. In her new role, Saquel will serve as Showrunner and Creative Content Advisor.

As the leader of Mkzeta’s fiction department, Saquel will oversee the development of projects for both traditional broadcast television and streaming platforms. Her responsibilities also include providing transversal advisory services for fiction and docu-reality formats.

Mkzeta, founded in 2020 by Macarena Cerda, Jorge Zabaleta, and Francisco Saavedra, aims to develop ambitious projects from Chile for both local and international audiences. Saquel’s appointment complements the work of executive producer Andrea Dell’Orto as part of a broader creative restructuring within the company.
