Verón–Punta Cana Mayor socializes new territorial planning draft

Ramón Antonio “Manolito” Ramírez, the mayor of the Verón–Punta Cana Tourist Municipal District, is conducting socialization meetings for the draft Territorial Ordering Plan (POT). The initiative aims to guide organized and sustainable growth in response to the area's rapid urban, commercial, and touristic expansion.

During these sessions, the mayor met with representatives from the Altagracia Tourism Business Alliance (ALETA) and the Dominican Association of Tourist Transport (ADOTRATUR). Business leaders and transport stakeholders provided technical observations regarding land use, mobility, and tourism infrastructure. The municipal government stated that these contributions will be evaluated for potential amendments to the technical document to ensure the plan meets the needs of the local economy and community.
