Italy implements various local traffic and public order ordinances

Various Italian municipalities have issued ordinances to manage traffic and public order due to maintenance, local events, and changes in nightlife regulations.

In Olbia, the suspension of traffic on the ramp between via Roma and via Gian Battista Vico has been extended until September 30 for technical inspections. In Tivoli, pedestrian access to the Ponte della Pace is restricted for two weeks for structural safety works. In Trani, Corso Vittorio Emanuele faces traffic changes due to a structural failure in the pavement.

Local celebrations and events are also driving changes. Siena has implemented temporary traffic modifications for the Festa dei Tabernacoli and Cross dei Rioni. Catanzaro has issued parking and transit bans for the “Cena Straordinaria” event. In Sassari, festivities for the Madonna del Rimedio will alter circulation in the Rimedio area from September 7 to 10.

Regarding public order, Avellino has revoked its summer nightlife restrictions, including limits on alcohol sales and music, following a significant decrease in nighttime crowds in late August. Additionally, several provincial roads in Verona are facing speed limits and one-way restrictions due to ongoing infrastructure maintenance and utility work.
