Veronica Alejandra Bustos places 8th in Ljubljana inline skating half marathon

San Marinese inline skater Veronica Alejandra Bustos achieved a notable result at the Ljubljana Inline Skating Half Marathon held on August 23. Bustos completed the 21-kilometer course in 55 minutes and 19 seconds, earning 8th place in the women's general classification and 2nd place in the U50 category.

This performance marks a significant recovery for the athlete following a severe training injury in November 2024 that sidelined her for approximately six months. Bustos improved her previous time from the last Ljubljana edition, where she won the U50 category with a time of 55 minutes and 37 seconds, by 18 seconds.
