Veronica Verho debuts as host of Tanssii tähtien kanssa

Veronica Verho has made her debut as a new host of the television program ‘Tanssii tähtien kanssa’ (Dancing with the Stars) alongside co-host Ernest Lawson. Verho expressed relief and happiness following her first live broadcast on Sunday, September 6.

Before the official announcement, Verho had to keep her new role a secret from most people, which she described as difficult. During the premiere of the 19th season, Verho participated in a surprise dance number with the star teachers, an idea she noted was inspired by seeing professional dancers host similar international versions of the show.

Verho noted that while she is critical of her own performance and recognizes there is room for improvement, she enjoys the excitement and unpredictability of live television. She also commented on her pink sequined outfit, jokingly referring to it as a ‘sauna suit’ due to the heat.
