Versace to return to Paris Haute Couture Week in January 2027

Versace has confirmed that Atelier Versace will return to the official Paris Haute Couture Week calendar in January 2027. The event, scheduled for January 25–28, will mark the debut collection of the brand’s new creative officer, Pieter Mulier.

This return follows a hiatus from dedicated couture runway shows lasting since July 2016. While the house has maintained a couture presence through private orders and red-carpet appearances, the upcoming show signals a strategic shift under the leadership of Lorenzo Bertelli and the management of Prada Group, which acquired Versace in a deal valued at approximately €1.25 billion.

Pieter Mulier, who officially joined the house on July 1, 2026, is expected to bring a new creative direction to the brand. His work has previously been noted in high-profile appearances, such as a black lace gown worn by Nicole Kidman. The move is viewed by industry analysts as part of a broader effort to reinforce the brand’s luxury positioning and cultural resonance.
