Vertafore introduces Agentic Agency vision and Velocity AI agents

Vertafore has introduced its ‘Agentic Agency’ vision, which utilizes four new Velocity AI agents designed to increase distribution velocity for independent insurance agencies. The initiative aims to reduce operational friction by embedding artificial intelligence directly into existing agency workflows, such as sales, submissions, servicing, and accounting.

The Velocity AI agents include Digital Producer agents for prospecting and renewals, Smart Submissions agents for preparing carrier-ready submissions and comparing quotes, Agentic Servicer agents for automating requests and endorsements, and Accounting Automation agents for tasks like bank reconciliation. Additionally, AI Enablers and Business Intelligence agents will support data quality and growth insights.

James Thom, Vertafore’s chief AI officer, stated that the goal is to remove friction and achieve intentional outcomes across the entire agency rather than simply accelerating individual tasks.
