Chatelle Lynch joins as Chief People Officer, bringing more than 20 years of talent‑management experience from roles at The RealReal and McAfee. Carlos Mercuriali is named Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Europe, after a two‑decade career leading international SaaS and tax‑technology businesses, most recently as SVP and General Manager, International at Avalara. Bala Chandran becomes Chief Product and Technology Officer, leveraging over 25 years in technology and AI from senior positions at Amazon and Oracle. The hires are intended to strengthen Vertex’s global growth strategy, enhance talent acquisition, expand its European market presence, and drive product innovation amid rapid changes in e‑invoicing and real‑time reporting requirements.
